First Day of Work [1004.1999] Today wasn't really my first day of work, but it's the first day I've tried to shape my schedule into a normal work routine. I know, I know.. The old 9-to-5 routine is outdated, especially for an Internet company. I don't plan to stick to it every day, but it's a good habit to get into - if only for the discipline. When I was working for ASI, I always complained that I spent all day working on work, and all night working on the stuff I wanted to create, and almost no time on my social life. It was an exaggeration, but not by much. Lately, I've been spending almost all my time on the new life coach system for manifestation.com, a little time on Zike, and almost no time on anything else. That's an exaggeration, too.. But that's what it feels like. I think I've been spending a lot of time frivolously, or on things that aren't really all that important. Part of the life coach will be an accounting system to track where time goes. It's not something people will use all the time (unless they're anal).. It's just a discovery tool to see what can be improved. I'm certainly curious where my time has been going. Of course, now I have the opposit problem. I'm deliberately taking free time. What should I do with it? I don't know, but I'll figure it out.. Time to break out the latest issue of Creative Loafing.
