I'm doing some work for GeorgiaNet, and I took a peek at what the federal government was doing web-wise. I hit the House of Representatives, and found what they're up to today:

The Speaker designated the Honorable Edward A. Pease to act as Speaker pro tempore to sign enrolled bills and joint resolutions through October 22, 1998

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Mr. Pease to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

The Speaker announced approval of the Journal. Pursuant to clause 1, rule I, the Journal stands approved.

Today's prayer was offered by the House Chaplain, Rev. James David Ford, D.D.

10:00 A.M. -

The House convened, starting a new legislative day.
