HIVE: Hmm.. [1020.1998]

Does it make sense to limit an idea drive to a particular topic? I'm beginning to think not. Certainly, it makes sense to classify ideas by topic for easier retrieval later.. But those topics should be fuzzy. The whole thing should be fuzzy. I should be able to go to one place and say "show me everything related to bananas" and it should show up whether it was entered on a banana subsite, a fruit subsite, a yellow objects subsite, or whatever... I've got a very basic, working version of the hive (my idea drive engine) but I've limited it to a very small audience until I get it to the point where it's usable.

Maybe I should categorize things the way usenet does...
