WRITING: Points and Images [0907.1998]

When I write, I tend to jot down all the ideas I have for a piece and arrange them before I start. I just found a distinction there:

About half of the ideas are usually points I want to make and the other half are images or scenes that illustrate an idea.

I've been trying to arrange all of that and cram it all in to my writing. Really, it makes more sense to arrange the ideas, then figure out which images support them, and which can be saved for a later piece.
