the morning test

One test I use for combatting the flake effect is to sleep on an idea and see if it still makes sense in the morning. Yesterday, I had a ton of ideas simply because I couldn't concentrate and my mind kept wandering (because I barely got any sleep the night before). I went to bed early - around 10 or 11 I think and slept all the way to 10 this morning.

Well, I feel great, and oddly enough, I still think my ideas from yesterday are a good ones: Also: my weight had been slowly creeping up from 250 to 251 for the past 4-5 days. This morning I weighed in at 248.8. My diet wasn't all that great yesterday and I was actually expecting to weigh closer to 252. Time and time again, the evidence tells me that I lose more weight the longer I sleep. I wonder why I never see that in health books?

Maybe I'll publish a self help book on the "Sleep Diet" and make a zillion dollars. Then I can buy a bed. :)
