The past couple months, I've been treading water financially.
I'm paying all my bills, but the last week of the month I wind up
leaning on my credit card a bit for things like gas money and groceries.
Things should turn around soon, though. My friends Zach and Jon took their Cashflow 101 lessons to heart and have started investing in real estate. They just closed on a property today (congratulations, guys), and I've agreed to rent a room, probably starting in September, when my current lease is up. That'll cut my monthly expenses by about $400, so I should be able to start paying off debt and rebuilding my savings.
January is still the light at the end of the tunnel, though. That's when the yearly renewals start to kick in. Hopefully that'll bring in enough to hire some part-time help.
